The story

How the project was born ?

Mothers are the most significant agency for change and affect many aspects of their children's lives, mothers' involvement in the child's life in the various settings mediates positive social norms and is an inspiration and personal example. Parental involvement in the school reinforces the child's sense of belonging to the school and to social cohesion. The integration of mothers helps to fulfill a Kidd vision with a future for empowering children and adolescents to lead to self-realization of their potential.

What is the project ?

Mamant Ashkelon is a demanding league for mothers with over 130 mothers in 11 teams, with each team representing the school where its children attend. All of this enables a group of mothers to become a school leadership group to strengthen unit pride, set a personal example and instill values to influence the family, school and community circle.

What its include ?

Using the league's platform to influence children through their mothers, transmitting values and empowering messages – an annual program to instill values through the sports field to create positive and proactive dialogue and communication between family members on issues such as: acceptance of difference, starts, losses, victories, teamwork, healthy lifestyle and more
