Goal for kids
Goal for kids
The story
How the project idea was born
At 2015, a successful meeting lead to a long lead cooperation between Kid Im Atid Tov (White Rock Rose) and Hapoel Ashkelon Football club together with Ashkelon municipality. Kid Im Atid Tov (white rock rose) saw the need of bridging the gaps of children's motivation to be successful football players, and their lack of motivation to invest and succeed in school.
The solution to bridge these gaps was by linking the support and progress of football activities and there progress at school. This can be achieved by improving their learning facilities and easier access to learn. We build at the stadium a new building including: two computer classrooms, a coach room, shower, toilet and all the required facilities.
What is the project
The project takes place in the classrooms that we built in the stadium. A coordinator was recruited for the project, whose role is to be the link between football and school. The coordinator is in touch with the trainees' teachers and their coaches. In addition, 6 students were recruited for the project, they come daily to assist a group of trainees in preparing homework, sporting them in any task they have.
The requirements from the trainees
- The trainees must arrive twice a week according to a program built for them, for two hours in the classroom.
- Full attendance at school and good behavior. They commit to maintain proper behavior in the stadium and at their school.
